11/11/08 - Mobile Breath Guard wins national magazine's award

The Vollrath Co., LLC recently received another award from Food Equipment Reports magazine for its Mobile Breath Guard product.

The Mobile Breath Guard helps prevent airborne germs and bacteria from being transferred to serving dishes and is often used in buffet service dining.

"The versatility is great," said one judge at FER's 11th annual Tabletop/Servingware Competition in Skokie, Ill.

The guard features a durable powder-coated steel base and adjustable brushed stainless steel posts. These posts adjust from 14 1/4" to 25 1/4" and support a curved, clear acrylic panel. The panel can be tilted to allow better access to serving dishes while still providing protection.

Vollrath's Mobile Breath Guard is available in three, four and five feet wide styles. The units can also be placed back to back from double sided buffet serving.
